Ôkia! — ÔKIA Cafe, a Vietnamese café in Nairobi

ÔKIA Riverside from outside: cream walls, magenta-outlined arches and the pink ÔKIA sign over the door
look over there!

Vietnamese café · Nairobi

Ô kia! is what you say in Vietnamese when something surprises you. We’re the pink arches on Riverside Drive and at Warwick Centre, Gigiri — bánh mì, iced cà phê and a lot of matcha.

N° 00 — The name

Oh,
look!

“Ô KIA! Vietnamese expression of surprise & wonder.”

That’s it — that’s the whole brief. A Vietnamese café in Nairobi built for the double-take: magenta arches you’ll want to stand in, green neon over the bar, bánh mì on leaf trays and iced cà phê that marbles when you stir it.

Two homes: One Three Six on Riverside Drive, open every day, and Warwick Centre in Gigiri, right by UN Avenue.
